Depart mid-day Friday and make our way to Hermanus. Our route takes us around stunning False Bay to Betty's Bay. We'll visit the local penguin colony, Stony Point, before arrival in Hermanus which is famous for being the best land based whale watching site in South Africa. After dinner you can explore the night life of Hermanus and visit the local pubs and nightclubs. Stay over in a youth hostel.
After breakfast on Saturday we'll wander the markets before heading to the Garden Route Safari Park - lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, wildebeest, springbok, ostrich and more. Dinner and overnight at Game Lodge.
Early morning Game Drive on Sunday, to see more animals. Breakfast follows and after we visit the reptile park and do the cheetah walk. Mid-afternoon we make our way back to Cape Town for arrival around 5 p.m.
Five of the Big 7 must see. Lions, Elephants, Rinos, Buffulo, Leopard, Shark and Whale.
