Microlight Booking Form
INSTRUCTIONS
You need to be at Wintervogel Private Airfield approximately 60 kms from Cape Town, 20 minutes before the set time. (Directions will be forwarded to you.)
Transfers are available from Cape Town at R350 for 1 person and R200 per additional person. Complete the pick-up address on the form if you require transfers.
Requirements: Maximum weight 100 kg.
What to bring: Warm clothing, closed shoes.
What is included: All instructions and equipment.
Terms and Conditions: -Should the trip be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, you will be rebooked for your alternate date. Should that date be cancelled you will receive a full refund. Should you not be at the airfield at the arranged time the full price will still be due.
Duration: approximately 3 hours. (30 minutes or 1 hour flying)
Please note that there is space in the microlight for 1 passenger and the pilot.
We are able to arrange up to 3 microlights to fly simultaneously if you book well in advance.
You are welcome to bring cameras and video cameras as long as they are securely strapped to your arm.
The airstrip is situated on a private farm and is very peaceful and beautiful, you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the farm after your flight.
Please dress warmly and wear 'closed' shoes. We will supply a flying suit to wear over your clothes.
Please note that we require a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
We try to schedule flights for early morning, as soon as the sun comes up. Not only is sunrise the most beautiful time of day for flying, it is also most likely to be windstill early in the morning. Please be prepared to get up early, you won't regret it!
If you are visiting Cape Town, please book your flight for early in your stay so that if the weather does not play along, you have the option of postponing your flight to another day.
